Property and the Law

Learn how to source and interpret relevant legislation so you can ensure that all of your interactions and dealings are legal at all times and minimize your exposure to risk when dealing with clients.

Negotiation

Negotiate effectively and efficiently in a real estate setting so you are able to settle disputes and conflicts with confidence and generate successful resolutions.

Selling Part 1

Learn the fundamentals of selling property, including appraisals and the preparation and presentation of property reports to perspective clients.

Selling Part 2

Take your knowledge from Selling Part 1 and amplify it so that you know all there is to know about selling property, from preparing for and conducting auctions to selling property by private treaty.

Basic Finance and Real Estate

Understand how finance works in the real estate industry. You will familiarise yourself with important documents and records that come with working in real estate. Learn how to balance the books and conduct trust account transactions.

Tribunals and Servicing Clients

Learn effective communication skills to ensure you build relationships with your clients and present confidently at tribunals.

Smart and Skilled

If you are eligible for Smart and Skilled funding, the New South Wales government will subsidised some of the cost of your course.

Fee for service

If you are not eligible for Smart and Skilled funding, the CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) will cost $6900.

Traineeship

If you are already working in the industry you may be eligible to complete the  CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) as a traineeship. When completing a traineeship, you will undertake paid employment, on either a full-time or part-time basis, while also setting aside time each week to focus on completing your required course work as well as undertaking practical observations with your trainer. To complete this as a traineeship you need to gain your employers support.

Traineeship are also subsidised by the NSW government, for eligible students.  If eligible for a traineeship there will be a co-contribution fee of $1000.
